In case you didn’t already know that about me.
I don’t care who you say you agree with. If you’re attacking people without provocation, based on your perception of their politics, you aren’t on my side. You’re just another problem.

Since Gewel gets to go to life drawing class twice a week for UT, the deal has been that I get to go once a week to AVAA, and I’ve been exercising that right pretty consistently and thoroughly. I’ve even been drawing through the whole session, beginning to end, exactly like you’re supposed to.
When you start drawing the reflected light on a life drawing model, you’re starting to nerd out, and it’s time for another pose. But, man, reflections never get old.
Voila! That enormous Dwarf Fortress fan art commission that I did.
Let us never think about the amount of time I spent on this in proportion to the amount I got paid. Besides, I got paid in bitcoins, so if they go up a hundred times in value overnight then it’s like I got paid a hundred times more yeah sure that’s the ticket
Thank god, thank god, after a year this commission is over. I had so much fun and I learned so much, but a year is a long time to have one piece hanging over your head.
At least it was a pretty good commission.
I’ll do a big post in a few days that sums up the whole piece, because it turned out pretty well and I’d like to revisit it. Let me talk to the person who asked me to do it and see what they have planned.
The worst thing about taking a year to do a commission is that you’re so much better at the end of a year that you have to go back and redo all the stuff from before.
